– M1 Max, 64 Go de RAM, 2 To de SSD Macbook
ou
– M4 Max, 64 Go de RAM, 1 To de SSD (3500€ – valeur de revente du M1 Max à 1500€) Ou peut-être acheter un PC de jeu à part. Le PC de jeu aurait :
– Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5070ti, 64 Go de DDR5 et 4 To de stockage SSD. Prix environ 2500€ (Je pourrais aussi opter pour le RTX 5080 et le Ryzen 9 9950X3D si vous le recommandez.
Le prix serait alors de 3000€.) —- L’usage principal du Mac ou du PC de jeu serait la diffusion en direct avec OBS et StreamElements sur Twitch et TikTok. (Contenu normal de Just Chatting depuis une caméra 4K) Et peut-être jouer à Minecraft en 1440p avec des shaders, tout en diffusant sur Twitch. Est-ce vraiment nécessaire d’avoir un PC de jeu ou y a-t-il un avantage significatif à avoir les deux à la maison ?

Isnt it popular to have a secondary weaker pc to handle the streaming and then a main rig for the games? Either way i would run screaming from modern mac products, the arm based mac silicon has horrible limitations and i cant imagine its too useful when playing games since their generally not designed to run on arm systems. Theres also the terrible anti consumer choices they make like removing the ability for you to even upgrade your storage and having double to triple the price of similar performing pc’s (and just so so much more, i could write paragraphs of stupid decisions apple has made malicous and otherwise). Also the specs are insane for what your doing, if you got the cash to throw around go ahead i guess but thats incredible overkill. Your looking at specs that us enthusiasts have wet dreams of where we’re stealing it from stores or spending lottery money on. My personal system is entirely used parts from 2019-2020, am4 5950x, rtx 3080 and it could handle what you listed with ease.
En tant que photographe, je trouve le débat très pertinent. Ta configuration M1 Max avec 64 Go de RAM m’interpelle car je galère justement avec des fichiers RAW sur mon vieux MacBook Pro 2017. As-tu vérifié la compatibilité des logiciels de montage vidéo avec l’architecture ARM ? C’est un point crucial quand on travaille avec des plugins niche.
Either system would be massive overkill for streaming and playing Minecraft. Are you sure that’s all you want to do?
