J’adorerais voir un ordinateur portable dans le cadre d’un modèle similaire aux spécifications de l’ZBook Ultra.

To access the performance it can provide you need to solder memory (at least today), so it’s incompatible with the rest of frameworks philosophy. Why are they doing it on the desktop, as doesn’t that also conflict with their philosophy? Yes it does, but money is delicious I guess.
That’s a very toxic opinion IMO. Soldered memory is not in any way incompatible with framework’s philosophy. I, as a user, want them to offer soldered memory in laptops yesterday – soldered memory provides a huge amount of benefits for a laptop and it should happen asap. Furthermore, there’s nothing anti consumer in soldered memory per se, what’s anti consumer is Apple charging you thousands for a memory upgrade that costs them like $65. Replaceable RAM is very overrated, I bought 64GB to start with with my FW13, I cannot imagine a scenario where I need to update the RAM, and by the time I decide to update the mainboard, this memory will be obsolete, or heavily under-performing compared to what I can get at the time of upgrade.
