Comme Ctrl+Alt+Suppr ne fait absolument rien, pas la moindre réaction. Mais c’est quoi ce bordel, sérieusement ? Et pourtant, je suis sur une config avec une RTX 5090, un R9 7970X et 64 Go de DDR5. Je vois que c’est un problème très courant sur toutes les GPU RTX, et que la solution actuelle est de désactiver le ray tracing. Mais non, merci pas merci, j’ai pas acheté une 5090 pour jouer avec des paramètres de paysan. C’est mort, ce jeu. J’avais déjà fini ce jeu sur Xbox, mais après Alan Wake II, j’avais vraiment envie d’y rejouer… Quelle déception.

Complete freeze usually means that something working on unstable parameters, memory/unstable gpu/cpu overclock/undervolt
if you look it up its a common issue, that is unresolved with this game. all other games run without crashes. the only thing i can think of is a multi monitor display. This issue happened on my 4090 and now my 5090… ram tested ok, both ssd’s have been upgraded since…. plese tell me its a hardware issue

What driver are you running? This was fixed in recent driver updates.

Same issue here. Only way around it is playing in DX11, which means no HDR, DLSS, or ray tracing. Wild that my 5070 Ti can crush Cyberpunk and Alan Wake 2 on max, but somehow chokes on a six-year-old game.
what cpu and ram do you have? for me 7970X and 64gb (2x32gb) Corsair DDR5. I’m wondering if AMD fidelity is secretly enable on AMD CPU’s and its conflicting with Nvidia DLSS, I had a similar problem in RE2 remake before i realized AMD Fidelity was enabled. (turned it off and the problems stopped) Maybe they’re are conflicting each other?
Sure—it’s an Intel Core Ultra 7-265KF, RTX 5070 Ti, and 32GB DDR5. I know it’s not a hardware issue because Control is literally the only game giving me problems. I even tried a clean install of both the game and the latest driver, and it still keeps freezing.
