Salut à tous, Je fais un nouveau montage de PC et je suis maintenant au point où je dois choisir mon écran. -MSI RTX5090 VANGUARD -AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D -64Go de RAM Et pour une raison quelconque, il est vraiment difficile pour moi de décider quelle voie je devrais prendre. Je sais seulement que je veux rester sur le 27 pouces. Parce que le 4K serait génial mais peut-être pas la meilleure option à long terme ? Je penche fortement vers l’achat de l’ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM, car on dit que c’est le meilleur écran 4K OLED de 27 pouces actuellement disponible. (Avec ses avantages comme 240Hz, 4K et également G-Sync disponible, DP2.1) Mais j’y réfléchis aussi, peut-être aller pour un 1440p avec plus de Hz comme par exemple ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP (Avec ses avantages comme 480Hz, 1440p et également G-Sync disponible + peut-être d’autres options) Des jeux que je joue vraiment, je fais tout, des RPG aux jeux de tir comme BF ou COD. Mais aussi des jeux de course ou des simulations. Comme je ne vois pas et ne veux pas faire d’amélioration bientôt. Je ne suis pas sûr si le 4K est la bonne voie. Ou quand je dois jouer à un jeu en 1440p sur un écran 4K en raison des paramètres du jeu, que l’upscaling peut ne pas être aussi bon qu’un 1440p natif. Qu’en pensez-vous ou avez-vous peut-être des expériences avec les deux mondes ? 1440p OLED à haute fréquence vs. 4K OLED à 240Hz Merci d’avance et salutations ! ÉDITION :

J’ai commandé l’ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM et j’ai déjà hâte de passer d’un écran TN FHD 144Hz de 2014 😅

L’écran 4K OLED est vraiment tentant, mais le 1440p serait peut-être plus fluide avec ton CPU. J’hésiterais aussi entre les deux, mais l’OLED a un excellent rapport qualité-prix.
Dude you have 5090, 4K of course. Also DLSS4 upscaled 4K from 1440p has better image quality than 1440p native it’s a pretty established fact now.
Bro even dlss 4 upscaled to 4k from 1080p (dlss performance) has better image quality than 1440p dlaa… let alone upscaled from 1440p
This is the way. 4k is great at 27″ and DLSS works really well at 4k with high dpi. The PG27UCDM is a great package, can’t go really wrong with it, if you can control ambient light a little.
Agreed. Consider the 32 inch version of that Asus too.

I’m facing a similar question. However, I only had the 5080. Would you say it’s better to skip 4K and go for OLED-UWQHD instead? Sorry for hijacking the post. You should definitely go for 4K with your 5090!
had a build with a 9800x3d and a 5090 fe, also with the pg27ucdm monitor. Amazing frame rates/performance in story games AND competitive shooters. Er well – I was getting stable 240fps in Apex which was the only comp shooter I was playing when I was gaming. Echoing the sentiments of other comments here, I feel like with that setup its a no brainer to go 4k. If you wanted to game at 1440p, save $1000 and get a 5080 instead and the performance will blow you away at 1440p.
Eh, 5080 is terrible value. 5070 Ti or 5090 much better. Totally agree though, 5090 = 4K.
Some people value.. value. Some people want a certain level of performance, and for certain people the 5080 is the right card
Just feels kind of wrong they gave a $1K GPU 16GB of VRAM in 2025 and even the 5060 Ti has a 16GB variant. It’s in a bit of a weird spot. Ik what you mean though.
don’t disagree. pretty sure they released the 5080 in its current state so that the people who upgrade every year buy the same card twice when they up the VRAM on the supers

With your specs 27 » 1080p for sure so you can play on low settings! /s Go with 4k (27 » or 37 » are my choices) and just play with DLSS. Frames are good and everything looks so crisp.

Mind if I ask where you were able to snag a Vanguard 5090? They’re sold out everywhere here and people are reselling them for $3000. I can’t find one, it’s the only 5090 model I want.
Agree with others, I’ve owned both monitors and the PG27UCDM is pretty amazing. I’d spring for it or the PG32UCDMR.
I’m all for high refresh 1440p gaming but if you’ve got a 5090 it’s a crime to not go for 4K.
